FAQ

Q. Why Should I buy custom-made replacement windows?

A. They are manufactured to fit your house only and not pre-manufactured to be “just close to your size”.

Q. Why should I buy from you?

A.  The bigger companies have financing available and will always accept cash. Smaller companies usually ask for
cash up front, which I recommend not doing unless you really trust the company.  You should ask for references
and check with the BBB & SBA (because they have to meet certain standards).

Q. How and when do I pay?

A.  You can pay by cash or we have financing available.

Q. Are your prices competitive?

A.  When it comes to pricing you should never buy based on price alone.   Always look for a better product at a
lower price and that’s what we provide.

note: When it comes to prices today in every industry there is a reason why the product is less expensive. There’s
usually a good, better and best.

Q. How long does it take to install windows?

A.  Depending on the number of windows..usually 2-3 days.

  •    1st day all windows should be set
  •    2nd day foamed around windows then trimmed out

Q. Are your windows energy efficient and environmentally safe?

A.  When choosing a window never choose a window that isn’t “energy star qualified”, because anyone can say a
window is energy efficient, but only the Energy Star means it has passed government specifications for energy
efficiency.

Q. What is R-value and how important it it?

A.  R-value is when the temperature outside is zero degrees, how much does that temperature transfer into your
home. I recommend at least a R-5 window.

Q. Are your windows a good investment if I plan to sell my home?

A. Yes because they add value to your home and have a transferable warranty which you can give to the new
owners. The new windows can help you attract home buyers as well. One of the first things many home buyers will
ask is “have you done any improvements to your home”?  If you haven’t then your home will be as valuable as your
neighbors who have.   It also could depend on how much you already have invested in your home. Call me and I can
explain it in greater details

Q. Why do people choose siding over other options?

A.  Never have to paint again which saves you money and time in the long run.

Q.  What would be a ball park figure for the cost of siding?

A.  All houses are different sizes, so that’s hard to answer..but most houses can be sided for roughly $8,000-$20,000
